	Professional Registration - NSNZ Register of Nutritionists
	Members of the society who have relevant qualifications (as determined by the NSNZ registration panel), a high standard of professional conduct and a commitment to continued professional development can seek professional accreditation to be placed on the NSNZ Register of Nutritionists. To download contact details of registered nutrionists, click here Individuals seeking registration are required to • have a relevant academic qualification from university or other recognised national institution of education in subjects relevant to Nutritionists; or to satisfy the Nutrition Registration Panel in its discretion that on the basis of significant professional experience at an appropriate level and relevant to the practice of nutrition in New Zealand • have an appropriate level of experience relevant to the practice of nutrition in New Zealand • be a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of New Zealand or a holder of a New Zealand temporary work permit • be a current paid up member of the New Zealand Nutrition Society • demonstrate continuing competency For further details, download document and application form
	Applications for full membership require NSNZ members to propose and second the application. There are 2 classes of membership: full-membership and student membership.
